Profile David McKay was born in 1945 in Fredericton. He attended local schools, graduating from the Fredericton High School in 1964, and the Saint John Institute of Technology in 1967, (diploma in Structural Technology). He is self-taught as an artist. 1982-1983 Commissioned to paint the MacDonald Farm Historic Park for N.B. Tel. The resulting four paintings are in NB Tel's permanent collection. Three of them were reproduced on their annual directory cover.
